FORTRIENOL®

FORTRIENOL® is a Tocotrienol Rich Fraction (TRF), in the form of a clear, rich amber oil mixture, containing the full spectrum of naturally occurring tocotrienols and alpha-tocopherol.

It is extracted from non-GMO, sustainable palm oil using a proprietary extraction process that has been developed through years of research.

FORTRIENOL® comes packaged in 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 25 kg containers under nitrogen blanketing. We can offer FORTRIENOL® concentrations of 10%, 30% and 50% (by weight), or customized according to your requirements.

FORTRIENOL® is also available in powder form. FORTRIENOL® powder is produced using a unique proprietary technology. Production is carried out in a nitrogen-rich environment, at normal atmospheric conditions without the introduction of heat or oxygen. This is superior to conventional powder production methods (e.g.: spray dry, freeze dry or micro-encapsulation), where the extreme temperature or pressure used may potentially alter or degrade the tocotrienol's molecular structure.

All Natural

FORTRIENOL® contains only natural tocotrienols and alpha-tocopherol, not synthetic forms of Vitamin E. Research has shown that the natural form of Vitamin E assimilates into the body much better than the synthetic version. In an experiment by Japanese researchers, healthy participants had to take three times the amount of synthetic Vitamin E compared to natural Vitamin E in order to have the same level of bioavailability of Vitamin E in their blood. [28]

Many Vitamin E products on the market contain synthetic alpha-tocopherol, labeled as dl-alpha-tocopherol.

Being all natural, FORTRIENOL® provides greater bioavailability and delivers a larger positive impact.

Complete Tocotrienol Complex

FORTRIENOL® provides the full spectrum of tocotrienol isomers in an optimal ratio of 3:1 to alpha-tocopherol.

Research has found that a high ratio content of tocopherol could potentially interfere with the cholesterol-lowering action of tocotrienol. [29] Extracts from rice bran oil have a tocotrienol:tocopherol ratio of 1:1 and are thus less favorable.

Extracts from both rice bran oil and annatto beans are also deficient in key tocotrienol isomers. As we now know, each individual tocotrienol isomer has its own unique protective and beneficial abilities. Hence it is very important to have access to the full spectrum of tocotrienols as provided by FORTRIENOL®.

Contains other Highly Valuable Phytonutrients

The mild extraction process used in the production of FORTRIENOL® results in a high purity product while retaining valuable phytonutrients such as carotenes and phytosterols that exist naturally in palm oil. Research has shown that phytosterols may aid in lowering cholesterol. [30]

Foods containing at least 0.4gm per serving of phytosterols, eaten twice a day with meals for a daily total intake of at least 0.8gm, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. [31]

Contains Natural Emulsifiers

FORTRIENOL® contains monoacylglycerols and diacylglycerols which act as natural food emulsifiers. They facilitate better absorption and greater bioavailability of tocotrienols and tocopherols in the human body.
